What if more people knew? Imagine the impact we could have together. Last week, I attended the second quarterly meeting of United Madison Christian Givers. The event was held at the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship offices on Whitney Way and featured presentations by six Christian leaders in Dane County. About 65 people attended. Madison is a non-profit organization hub and Madison residents are generous. But keeping the organization funded so it can serve the people it was created to serve can still be a challenge. The Madison Christian Giving Fund (MCGF) was created to serve organizations like that. WESTMINSTER HOUSE, abutting fraternity row just off the University of California’s Berkeley campus, is a dorm with a mission: “Share the ‘Good News’ of God’s love in Jesus Christ.” To explain: Three years ago, Westminster House, a home owned by the Presbyterian Church since 1911, added accommodations for 126 students, complete with wireless access and T-1 ports.
