United Madison Christian Givers held their 2nd Quarter event on April 22nd at InterVarsity’s office in University Research Park. Six local ministries shared their hearts and visions:
- Brat Fest
- Athletes in Action
- Shelter From The Storm Ministries
- Every Daughter
- Jesus Lunch
- Outside the Walls
UMCG members present considered each ministry and then voted to select these three to receive grants they had applied for, for this quarter:
Every Daughter – This ministry walks alongside women in our community who have been sexually exploited or trafficked—helping them reclaim their lives and find healing in Christ. Grant funds will support legal fees, court fines, housing applications, background checks, apartment deposits, and home essentials as they begin a new chapter. WATCH SHORT VIDEO TO LEARN MORE

Jesus Lunch – They offer students free lunches and a Biblical message in a park near the school during their school day, living out the motto “Food for the body, nutrition for the soul.” The funds will help cover food, rent, flyers, and required licenses. Serving approximately 8,000 students annually, the program is focused on reaching those who may not otherwise hear the message of Jesus. WATCH SHORT VIDEO TO LEARN MORE
