The Madison family has experienced some of the most painful times imaginable, as then 17-year-old Samy Garduno-Martinez, who loved cross country and spending time with friends, was one of the students critically wounded following the school shooting. MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The family of a 14-year-old school shooting survivor thanks God every day that’s he’s alive, nearly three months after a student opened fire at Abundant Life Christian School. That shooting left a classmate and teacher dead, and six students injured, two critically. One of those critically injured students was freshman River Clardy.
