Using biblical principles to save lives is the eligibility criteria for the local ministries that have been recognized and rewarded in the four quarterly gatherings this year sponsored by United Madison Christian Givers, the organization that evolved and merged a year ago from the Madison Christian Giving Fund and United Madison. The fourth and final Grant Award Event of 2025 was held October 28th at the InterVarsity building. Collaboration Project – Danielle Sill is from a family that regularly ran 5ks on major holidays. However, she claims she didn’t love running until she started training for the Madison Half Marathon with Team World Vision last year. “I started to enjoy it because I had other people to run with, and I knew I was running for a greater cause than just staying fit. Instead, I was running to help others receive clean water, making my miles feel more impactful.” Read more of this story.
The 2022-2023 Annual Report of The Collaboration Project highlights 12 months of activities aimed at bringing together the Church of Dane County in unity to promote the flourishing of all. “The kind of unity is an opportunity for the Church to be a light and a source of great hope in our world today,” writes executive director Jon Anderson. “The greater community is deeply divided, and these divides threaten the ability for all to flourish, especially for the most vulnerable.” Check out the whole report here.

By – Collaboration Project – For the second year, Leopold Elementary School has partnered with three local churches to support their students and families for Christmas. City on a Hill Church, along with the Church, and Christ Church hosted a Christmas Toy Shop on Tuesday, December 14, serving 50 families in the school community and neighborhood. Pastor Jeff Franklin of City on a Hill noted that the event was an unexpected blessing of the COVID-19 pandemic. Healthy and connected pastors/clergy are foundational to collaboration between churches and the flourishing of our communities. Since 2019, the Collaboration Project has been coming alongside over 100 pastors, clergy, and ministry leaders in Dane County. A NEW Ministry Co-Working Space is the Collaboration Project’s latest investment in pastoral support and connection for ministry practitioners across Dane County. The Co-Working space is located conveniently at 6506 Schroeder Rd, on Madison’s west side and offers a choice of working environments and common areas to network with other members.
