ANNOUNCEMENT
This summer we experimented with a concept that took our former Prayer Internship students and other trusted praying friends out to pray for local churches and ministries. We called them Ignition Teams. We believe prayer can release the blessings of God. And that’s what these Ignition Teams do. They go out to turn on blessings from God in answer to prayer. This is one of the most visible ways we can be a “gift” to the body of Christ in our city.
We want to let you know that we are now re-launching these teams.
Each member of a House of Prayer Ignition Team has been trained in prayer and has a genuine heart of love for the whole body of Christ. We come with no agenda of our own other than to be a blessing to the body of Christ. You set the prayer agenda. There will always be a team leader who will introduce themselves and the other team members. They are available for individual prayer ministry (men with men, women with women, or mixed), to prayer walk around your church, and to intercede for issues you might identify. Team members are expected to keep things confidential and to be respectful.
Our teams are made up of volunteers and many of them work during the day. The best times would probably be around the lunch hour or late afternoon/early evening.
We like to come for at least 90 minutes.
We consider this an honor, and as a way that we can be a gift to the Church of Madison. I hope we can work something out soon.
If you’d like an Ignition Team to come to your church or office to pray, please get back to me with at least a couple of date and time options starting next week. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have a team that can come.
If you have any questions just email me or call me at 332-5664.
Blessings,
Dave Konkol
