Grant Guidelines
- Evangelism – The organizations we support, and the programs we fund intentionally advance, promote, and proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God through faith in Christ. No scale is needed here; it’s either yes or no. Evangelism through service does not qualify, unless there is a visible, intentional gospel component.
- Impact – Seed money for new initiatives that no one else is funding. Organizations and programs where a small amount of money will make a big difference.
- Leverage – Funding that will enable the grantee to multiply our grant by using it as a matching grant, or by partnering with other foundations.
- Reach – Organizations and programs that intentionally partner with other organizations or churches to in order to reach a broader audience with their message or service.
Finally, we have all agreed that
We do want the funds to benefit Dane County residents;
We do want to fund projects that are cost effective
We do not want to fund larger organizations;
We do not want to “plug holes” in anyone’s budget;
We do not want to provide “on going” funding for any grantee.
