By Fred Grossenbach – Dear Friends, Dane County is home to incredible Christian ministries—transforming lives through compassion, leadership, and service. Yet, so many of these efforts go unnoticed. What if more people knew? Imagine the impact we could have together. Last week, I attended the second quarterly meeting of United Madison Christian Givers. The event was held at the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship offices on Whitney Way and featured presentations by six Christian leaders in Dane County. About 65 people attended. MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Good Shepherd Lutheran Church partnered with Westwood Christian Church for its 14th annual ‘Trunk or Treat’ event on Saturday. Three-hundred monsters, princesses and more gathered in the parking lot of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Around 20 cars decorated their trunks and gave out candy. Read more of this story.

Marlene Paprocki was navigating through life's choppy crosscurrents when Aglow caught her eye on the horizon. There were women from many Christian traditions gathering for enthusiastic song and worship. They were open to being moved by the Holy Spirit. Speakers were faith-centered. Personal growth was a priority. So was Christ's "great commission" of outreach to others. And she was drawn to the monthly meetings. Read more.
