Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — His good, pleasing and perfect will. — Romans 12:2
Transformation frees you to enjoy life. Most people need things to be happy — a new car, a new house, whatever. You will experience the freedom of being happy with or without the trinkets. You will enjoy what you have — your spouse, your family, your home, your work, your life. Married people will often experience a new level of lovemaking enjoyment. Best of all, you will experience and enjoy a new kind of closeness with God, where you get to know who He really is and how much He really cares about you.
Transformation isn’t something you try to do — or could do, even if you tried. It’s something that God does inside you. It is a process, a unique journey for each person. But it is a journey with milestones — miraculous and supernatural results are the norm. But why should that surprise us? After all, this is God we are dealing with.
