After a one-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual National Day of Prayer Observance returns to the Wisconsin State Capitol on the first Thursday of May. A full schedule of events has been released by the Wisconsin National Day of Prayer State Coordinator.
“The Capitol has opened up from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. beginning as of Monday, May 3rd. The only entrance that will be open is the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd Ground Level Entrance. If for some reason it is not open just push the intercom, say you are with the NDP and they will let you in. I have confirmed this with the Capitol Police/Permit plus Senator Andre Jacque is hosting us in 300 SE and 400 SE if we need an overflow room.”
