The first Leading with Power luncheon was held today at the Marriott in Middleton. Leading with Power lunches are designed for men interested in meeting with other men, networking, or growing as fathers, husbands, and business men. The meetings feature a guest speaker and time for interaction.
Dr. Stephen Mansfield–author, international speaker, and cable talk show guest–talked about the importance of men connecting with other men who wish to grow into a real man, a noble man of character. Mansfield referenced studies which show that 80% of men cannot name one man as a best friend or someone they would trust to take care of their family in an emergency. Today, men are “lost in a sea of casual relationships”. I saw a lot of heads nodding in agreement. The goal for every man to build a contagious culture with other men who are on the same journey, encouraging and challenging one another to achieve their God given potential as a man.
Based on today’s Leading with Power experience, I predict this will be a successful venture in Madison. The next meeting is Wednesday October 4, 11:45-1:00pm at the Middleton Marriott. You can get more information and register at leadingwithpower.org, or call 608-386-6333.
