A potluck dinner designed to strengthen the Madison community and discuss race relations has been scheduled for April 27 at James Madison Memorial High School.
The dinner carries the theme “Let’s Talk About It: Race Relations,” and will be held from 3-6 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but people are asked to bring a dish to pass that will serve eight to 10 people.
The event is being organized by the Rev. Alex Gee, founder of the Justified Anger Project, Michael Johnson, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, Ed Hughes, president of the Madison school board, and Oscar Mireles, executive director of Omega School.
