Many jobs in ministry require a seminary degree or other theological training. But there are other ministry jobs locally that do not require theological training.
For instance, some local churches and other local ministries need support staff. Door Creek Church and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship currently have such openings.
Door Creek Church has a position to fill as student ministry coordinator. It’s a 25-hour per week position, working with Door Creek’s two student ministry pastors. Door Creek, an east side church in the Evangelical Free Church denomination, is looking for someone who is “task-driven, people-oriented and able to manage several different projects at one time.”
Contact Lisa Taylor at ltaylor@doorcreekchurch.org or phone Door Creek Church at 608-222-8586 for more information or to apply.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a national ministry with staff on more than 550 campuses, has its national office in Madison. Vacant positions are regularly posted on InterVarsity’s website at http://www.intervarsity.org/jobs/nationaloffice. There are currently ten positions posted.
