Kim and I are looking into starting a meal preparation service to support our family and ministry. We would love to get your input and ideas: http://www.dwightclough.com/survey/
… God has called us to live in peace. – 1 Corinthians 7:15
The reality is this: All of us have people in our lives that we wish would change or go away. Quite often those people live under the same roof we do.
I want to especially encourage those of you who are married to someone you don’t like any more, someone who won’t change, someone who is, well, a jerk.
God sees you. He knows what you are experiencing. His great desire is to step into your life and bring peace. The grace God has for you is designed to give you strength to relax, to approach this relationship from a position of strength, to outwit and overcome the enemy every time he aims an arrow at your heart, to exercise tough love, to forgive without becoming a doormat, to rise up inside as a true son or daughter of God, to have your needs and desires deeply satisfied by God Himself.
But there is a price to pay. You have to bring your pain to Jesus. You have to get real about everything that is going on in your heart. Jesus stands at your door and knocks. Can you let Him come in?
Be encouraged!
