Madison’s Door Creek Church finally has a senior pastor again, two and a half years after the sudden death of former pastor Brad Smith. The church has announced that Mark Maillefer, 47, will join the church staff on August 1st. He’s scheduled to give his first sermon on Sunday, September 3rd.

Habitat for Humanity’s first Apostle Build home was dedicated Sunday, June 4, 2006. The new home for the John and Lori Severson family, on Buchner Court in the Twin Oaks subdivision, was a cooperative effort involving members of ten area churches. It began last October and now Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Brian Miller is looking for more churches to get involved in the next home.
