Capital City Church (Assemblies of God) in Madison provided 32 helpers and Eagle Heights provided over 200 international residents in attendance for a sunny afternoon of various activities last Saturday.The outreach, targeted towards children, started off with a hot dog and Boca Burger cookout complete with fresh watermelon and cotton candy. Madison’s Door Creek Church finally has a senior pastor again, two and a half years after the sudden death of former pastor Brad Smith. The church has announced that Mark Maillefer, 47, will join the church staff on August 1st. He’s scheduled to give his first sermon on Sunday, September 3rd.
